Why must the entertainment industry awards complex make things so difficult for two hardworking bitchy bloggers such as we, darlings? Why must they schedule several awards shows, luncheons, and various other celebrity style attention-fests all in the same weekend? We could double our number of daily posts and still have catching up to do. Still, it’s better than having nothing to post about, we suppose. You don’t want us opining on the latest Kardashian or Lohan appearance unless things are really dire.
Anyway, Miss Janelle turned it out once again for the PGAs:
But we go back and forth on whether this all comes together as well as it should. It’s dramatic, sure. And it plays to her strengths while sticking to her themes. But the design is borderline circus tent, the hair style doesn’t photograph all that well and the jewelry feels tacked on instead carefully chosen. To our eyes, at least. Your eyes may see something different.
