It’s time for us to admit it. We’re never really on board with Miss Olivia’s style choices. They’re always either a little off somehow or not quite polished enough for public appearances. Then there’s the boredom and the tackiness factors.
To wit:
It’s not horrible on the face of it, this dress. There are too many straps and too many ruffles, to be sure. And we can’t believe we’re saying this, but we think it’s better in black. Still, we can see it working on the right gal at the right tie. But she just … doesn’t do anything with it. Or it doesn’t do anything for her. Maybe it’s a Girl, That’s Not Your Dress situation, but given her red carpet history, we tend to think she just doesn’t have a great facility for picking the right outfits and getting them styled well.
This is okay. We’re not saying she’s a fashion disaster; just that she’s clearly trying but rarely makes an impact.
