And just like that:
Scary Gaga returned for a moment.
Honestly, the more we look at this getup, the less we mind the dress, all things considered. Sure, it’s white, lacy, and over-ruffled; three things we tend to hate when combined in one look. But it has a sort of country-punk feel – or it could, if it was styled well. We assume that’s why she’s got the super-heavy eye makeup, but we can’t say we love it here. And the choker really bugs. Let us not even mention the footwear. Although we’ll say this: some sort of weird and out-there shoe choice is just what a dress like this calls for. We don’t hate the idea behind this choice but we’re damn tired of looking at this style on her feet.
And then there’s the wig situation, which is somewhere near “national tragedy” on the Tragique Scale. Which is a thing we just made up but can’t believe it’s taken us this long to do so.
