At least we think it’s a heart.

Someone needs to hand the design team at Dior an anatomy book. Last time we checked, the heart is not located at the tip of the breast. That looks more like a nipple piercing gone wrong. It’s an awful design element. Further compounding the awful is the bust itself, which can only be described as “boob pockets.”

Aside from the above issues – and the back, which is admittedly pretty nice, if a little “medical device” in tone  – there’s not much to say about this one. It’s a strapless white gown. Shocking. After the last week of funeral dresses on the red carpet, we wonder if we’re not heading into a bridal shop trend for the next week or so. Forget the madonna/whore complex. We seem to be smack in the middle of a bride/widow moment in the zeitgeist.

Let’s get over it quickly, shall we?
