For real. It’s shocking. Our jaws dropped.

A little.

Are you shocked? Did you fall out? No? Then you’re probably not a fashion blogger or someone who tends to obsess over purely trivial shit.

Sure, it’s an embroidered nightgown, which somehow seems appropriate for a gal who’s spent decades wearing sequined bath towels, but this is easily one of the most “designed” dresses we’ve seen her wear in years. It occurs to us that such a statement is something of a backhanded compliment since it is, as we noted, a nightgown. But Miss Lady does not go for color or pattern or texture in her style choices (something we’ve bitched about for years), so this is really is a bold – and yes, somewhat surprising, if not quite shocking choice for her. Even better: it suits her personal SoCal Boho style, which was always under-represented in her red carpetry. And it’s totally ease-of-use for a gal who doesn’t like to go for fussy.

To be honest, we can’t think of one thing to change – and that really is shocking if we’re talking about Jen A.
