Miss Felicity, this is distressing to us.
That last shot is universal body language for “Pretty sure this dress is awful.”
And you’re right, Felicity. It is a fairly awful choice for a red carpet. It’s flimsy and awkward and it’s the color of dirty linens.
Okay, fine. It’s “lavender.” But that is the dingiest pastel we’ve ever seen. Granted, we might just be seeing it as a drearier color than it is because the dress is basically depression in garment form. Seriously, what is with that hem? This is Couture? This is glamour? This is a movie star at the premiere of the biggest film of her career?
This is not how we want our glamorous rebel fighters to appear on red carpets, darling. Please course-correct.
