Girl, we guess so…
Obviously, she doesn’t look bad. She looks very pretty, in fact. And if she was attending some sort of Christmas cotillion, we’d be applauding her tasteful sophistication and restraint. But she’s a young pop star at the AMAs. “Tasteful sophistication and restraint” don’t strike us as the appropriate style brief for the combination of her and here. We’re not suggesting she has to sex it up or get her drag eleganza on, but a little more oomph and impact is called for here. Either style this dress up into something memorable – which should be easy, since it’s a blank slate of a gown – or go pick an ensemble that’s a bit more memorable than this one.
