Michelle Williams Got LV’d at the Governors Awards

Boy, the fashion world will do anything not to properly line a dress, won’t it?

It’s like all the designers currently working were somehow traumatized by a slip when they were young.

But perhaps we should look at this from a more appreciative point of view. After all, this… thing represents some fairly creative thinking.  The fine folks at Louis Vuitton have paired one sheer, shimmery dress with another completely fucked up dress to produce the unholy union of this awkward Frankendress. Who else would have thought to produce such a thing? Besides crazy people with no design skills, that is?

Honestly, if this dress had a standard lining  – or even managed to cover the naughty bits in something other than random shapes and scraps of fabric – we’d probably be okay with it.
