Marion Cotillard and Brad Pitt Grimly Attend the “Allied” Paris Premiere

We realize his life’s falling apart and she’s preoccupied with baby baking at the moment, but this poledance is starting to look like some form of community service imposed on two felons rather than a couple of movie stars promoting their latest.

Although we can’t really rag on the style on display, sober as it is. Her dress is simple and chic. He’s not the guy for a double-breasted jacket and we don’t like the scarf or the monochromatic effect, but this is extremely polished compared to how he dressed for the red carpet just a few years ago. Back then it was all “I secretly want to be in a biker gang instead of a movie star,” which we found as pretentious as Johnny Depp’s gewgaws or Robert Downey Jr’s kid’s kicks. This at least has an air of professionalism to it.

Now if we could just get either of them to call on their acting skills and pretend like they’re excited to be here.
