If nothing else, we greatly appreciate this dress for not having random snakes or tiger heads or geckos or flocks of butterflies all over it. It’s not the most exciting dress seen on a red carpet, but it’s damn refreshing to be looking at a garment that isn’t trying so damn hard to make us love it. It’s just a pretty gown in a color that really suits her. We’re not a hundred percent on the placement of the floral embellishments, but it seems a minor point when we’ve been looking at gowns with bats on them lately. Love the hair, makeup and supermatchy earrings, but the clutch is pulling too much focus. A midnight blue would’ve been our rec.
