We almost never say this about Miss Christina’s style choices, but …

From the waist up she looks great. Usually this is the area that causes her the most grief, but this dress looks amazing on her and fits her bust perfectly. The bronzey golds look fabulous with her own coloring.

And when we say it looks great from the waist up, that doesn’t mean it looks bad from the waist down. It’s just that design would have looked a bit fresher if the entire skirt wasn’t rendered in black. Even just a little bit of the design elements from the bodice playing out somewhere in the skirt would have been a bit more modern.

Still, it’s not see-through and it doesn’t have sequined geckoes crawling all over it, so we should probably just stop our nitpickery. She looks gorgeous and holiday-ready.

Oh, Christina. We don’t mean to be snobs about this sort of thing, but you deserve better, girl.
