Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde Take a Baby Break in NYC

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are spotted out and about in their Brooklyn neighborhood in New York City.

Can you smell the pumpkin spice latte in the air, kittens? Apparently, new parents (congrats on Daisy Josephine, born just a frigging week ago!) Jason & Olivia simply couldn’t bear to spend another minute away from it.

Listen, far be it for us to tell the straights how to live their lives, but two people who look like that a week after bringing a new baby into the world? It’s not natural. Even if you ignore the bullshit her body just put her through and the fact that they have a shitting, screaming, ’round-the-clock needy hoagie at home, they’re still looking impressively casual-chic.

Lately, we’ve been playing around with the idea of making jeans only an occasional wardrobe item instead of a daily one. We’ve been wearing a lot of colored cords and chinos with colorful kicks, much in the same vein as Jason is here. Not that we’re suggesting it’s a revolutionary look or anything, just that we’ve been enjoying the look lately. It’s a great way to make a standard t-shirt-and-sneakers look just a tiny bit more presentable. Mentally switch out those pants for a standard pair of jeans and he instantly looks a little more sloppy. Alternately, he could switch out the denim jacket for a corduroy sports coat and suddenly look casually dressy.

She’s kind of pulling the same trick. Take away the sweater – which we believe is an example of what our fairy blogsisters hilariously dubbed a “wine cardigan” – and she’d take a lot less flattering picture. These two know what they’re doing. And since we doubt a stylist had input here, it’s a testament to their own good instincts.
