Anna Camp, Chris Diamantopoulos, Daniel Eric Gold, Erin Darke, Genevieve Angelson, Grace Gummer, and Hunter Parrish attend the “Good Girls Revolt” New York Screening at the Joseph Urban Theater at Hearst Tower in New York City.
Darlings, it’s a chance for Lorenzo to gush about his latest obsession! We got season screeners for this Mad Men-esque series (trailer below) and he devoured the entire thing in one marathon sitting. Every time he gets a chance to talk about it, his eyes light up. He’s in wuv. We’ll have reviews and costume posts up next week when the series drops. Until then, let’s judge the stars, yes?
Well, if there’s anyone who could pull off a dress as sickly sweet as this one, it’s probably her. Even so, this could use a bit of editing. The top and bottom halves are asking a lot of each other.
He’s hot. The suit’s nice. Nothing else is happening here.
Why would you choose now to go bland and generic in your choices? Tsk.
A+ for attention-seeking. The print is a bit much, but we appreciate the unusual color story. The neckline is awful.
Girl, we’re gonna give it to you straight, so to speak.
Your dress is hideous.
How perfectly Meryl.
That’s not as much of a compliment as we’d like it to be, unfortunately.
That facial hair is a little skeevy on him.
The costume design and art direction are SERIOUSLY on point. Unlike Mad Men, this series makes good use of (digitally enhanced, of course) “location” shots of period New York.
Oh, and Grace Gummer plays Nora Ephron. Selling point? We think so! See you on the 28th, when we’ll have much more to say!
