Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick attends the premiere of “The Accountant” at Cineworld Leicester Square in London, UK.
So apparently this movie’s success caught a lot of people off guard. We must have read about a half dozen “Ben Affleck has a hit movie! How crazy is that?” pieces in the last 48 hours. Poor Ben. Also, poor Anna, because last time we checked, this was her hit movie too.
Anyway, let’s judge them.
Guys, you’re movie stars. You’ve got a hit. Pretend you like each other and that you’re thrilled with your current success. You’re actors. You should be able to fake that for 5 minutes or so.
It’s a somewhat sad commentary on the dull state of menswear trends that we find ourselves appreciative of Ben’s use of color. Ninety percent of male stars would have paired a white shirt and blue tie with that blue suit. That Ben chose a blue shirt and green tie is practically revolutionary.
Oh, god. We could weep. Men are wearing exactly the same clothes they were wearing a hundred years ago, with only minor alterations made, and we’re getting excited over a blue shirt. How sad.
Anyway, you look nice, Ben. But for some reason, one of your shirtsleeves appears to be much longer than the other.
It’s … pretty enough. The style is fairly basic and the color is on trend but doesn’t quite suit her. The accessories are fine, but somewhat invisible. The hair looks a little odd to us.
Sorry if this all sounds like a dry assessment, but there’s just not a lot here to get worked up over. It’s … pretty enough.
Jesus, you two. Did you just find out you got tricked out of your salaries for this film or something? Lighten up! You’re film’s a hit!
