Let’s all yell at the cast of “The Walking Dead” on the red carpet

Posted on October 24, 2016

Alanna Masterson, Andrew Lincoln, Christian Serratos, Danai Gurira, Jeffrey Dean, Lauren Cohan, Melissa McBride, Michael Cudlitz, Norman Reedus, Seth Gilliam, Sonequa Martin, Steven Yeun and Tom Payne attend AMC presents “Talking Dead Live” for the premiere of “The Walking Dead” at Hollywood Forever in Hollywood, California.

Darlings, we cannot tell you the relief we felt when we got up this morning and realized that we didn’t have to recap The Walking Dead anymore. Especially after watching the reactions to the season seven opener on twitter (somewhat gleefully in a not entirely non-malicious way, we admit). No, we’d had our fill after recapping every episode for 6 seasons and tapped out at last season’s finale.

But that doesn’t mean we won’t provide you with a space to vent and judge, darlings. Feel free to spew about the season opener as we judge the red carpetry of all involved.

Alanna Masterson

A cute idea that could us a bit of tweaking. The shirt/jacket combo leaves her a little blocky.

Andrew Lincoln

Yawn + bad shoes.

Christian Serratos

Not sure about the makeup or the shoes, but the dress is really cute.

Danai Gurira in Thom Browne

Our thoughts in descending love order: Love the jacket, like the skirt, hate the bodice.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan

We realize this look suits you and this isn’t exactly the Oscars, but try a little harder, Jeffrey.

Lauren Cohan in Prabal Gurung

Cute enough, but the bust looks a bit tight.

Melissa McBride

It’s very her. That sounds a little back-handed, but we don’t really mean it. It suits her. Just get rid of the choker and upscale the footwear a little and she’d be fine.

Michael Cudlitz

This isn’t the Home Depot parking lot, dude. Step it up.

Norman Reedus

The hair remains as tragic as ever, but at least he’s got decent style.

The boots? Not so much.

Seth Gilliam

Is this like a hideous footwear convention or something? What is going on with this crowd?

Sonequa Martin

Yes. Yes, it is a hideous footwear convention.

Steven Yeun

We don’t get it. Did they all get together and decide to fuck up their outfits with bad shoes? Is this some sort of message or something? Or do they all just happen to have terrible taste in shoes?
