A celebrity couple color-coordinating their red carpet ensembles is like a real-world couple who start farting in front of each other. That’s when you know it’s serious.
But dammit, they do make a pretty pair, don’t they?
She tends to snatch the more faux-naive porcelain doll, “Little House on the Prairie” styles in the LV house, while Jennifer Connelly tends to grab all the techno-futuristic stuff. They could both do with a switch. Which isn’t to say this looks bad on her. It’s not really our taste, but she’s got the sort of old-fashioned looks that tend to go well with this style. And the colors and print are pretty, if a little upholstery-like. But we think Jennifer Connelly might actually do better by this dress, just by not being the type you’d expect to wear it. Similarly, we wonder if Alicia wouldn’t be better served by some of Jennifer’s more severe picks.
He’s not exactly setting the mensworld community on fire with his bold choices, but we can remember a time when he used to show up looking like he slept in his limo and just rolled onto the carpet. The tie/pocket square combo is a nice touch of color. Lorenzo’s been collecting a few pocket squares lately and keeps looking for ways to work them into his wardrobe as much as possible without looking pretentious about it.
