Rooney Mara attends the premiere of “Lion” during the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

We get on Miss Rooney’s case a lot for being so samey-same in her style all the time, so this look is notable for two things: that it’s different and that it’s strikingly pretty.

Yes, she tends to look a little like a Christmas decoration, but the shape is interesting and the style is unexpected, coming form her. We think this might have been a good time to get her out of her head styling rut and into some hair and makeup with a little freshness to it, but we suppose that may be too much to ask for. Audreybot’s gotta Audreybot, after all.
