Reem Acra looked to the ’80s to realize its spring 2017 theme of “secret garden.” While there’s the kind of floral brightness one would expect with a theme like that, there’s also a certain Reagan-era richness, both of form and of color, underlying the main theme. Reem Acra is a design house that defines what the celebrity red carpets of the coming year are going to look like, which means we can look forward to a lot of color and exuberant shapes. Fine by us.
