“The Kennedys After Camelot” actress Katie Holmes attends the Cartier Fifth Avenue Grand Reopening Event at the Cartier Mansion in New York City.
Darlings, we’ll make you a promise. We are, for once, NOT going to go off on a tirade about all the “forced whimsy” dresses this season. We are NOT going to go on and on about how we sometimes fear we’re going to see one embroidered tiger or unicorn or mushroom cap too many and finally snap. No, kittens. We won’t do that.
Instead we’ll return to that ol’ T Lo favorite: Why would anyone want to wear a dress that looks like a drawer full of old panty hose?
All things considered, the embroidery and applique isn’t too bad. We can handle random butterflies. Our only real critique, aside from the dreary non-color, is the use of a bralette or bodysuit to make the top half of this camera ready. It looks awful next to a lined skirt. Just line the whole damn thing and stop trying to be cute about it.
The hair: fun or awful?
