Jeremy Renner and Amy Adams attend the premiere of “Arrival” during the 73rd Venice Film Festival at Sala Grande in Venice, Italy.
A couple of yawns in human form.
Sorry. We’re sure they’re lovely and exciting people to know. But from a style perspective, they couldn’t be more generic. We’ll give Amy credit for a nicely styled head but a strapless sheer black gown is like a default setting. He’s fine. He’s appropriate, just as she is. We’re not feeling the bow tie, which looks a bit like a moth. But they’re both punching the clock here, we suppose. Getting the job done. Personally, we’d take the Venice Film Festival as a time to indulge in some gorgeous Euro Chic offerings, but that’s just us. And not them, clearly.
Edit: Somehow we missed the embroidered rose on his tux, which … well, we suppose he should get credit for doing something a little different. It’s not a direction we’d want to go, but he gets points for trying.
