“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” actress Jane Krakowski attends the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

On a night when the ladystars weren’t afraid of color, this one still managed to stand out.

Possibly because it wasn’t as played out as the red, yellow, pink and green dresses that tended to dominate. But this look has a few issues keeping it from the top of any best dressed list. For one, the visible white lining of the skirt through the slit is distracting as hell, no? We’re asking on that one. Second, the belt digs into her too much. We’re not even sure the dress needs one. Third, those shoes are completely wrong for it. She needed a neutral. A slim-strapped black sandal would’ve been more chic. It’s a great color, and the beading is eye-catching, but the longer we look at it, the more we think it needs serious edits.
