“The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” actress Sarah Paulson attends the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

The Emmys hack has been busted wide open. Now everyone will know that mentioning T Lo in your New York Times profile is a guarantee that you’re going to win a major award. All celebs? Please start mentioning T Lo all the time. Goodness will rain down upon you. Let Sarah be your guide.

This is a long and self-involved way of saying CONGRATULATIONS, SARAH! We couldn’t be happier about this win. She’s been churning out amazing work for years now and her professional recognition was long overdue. Even better? She accepted that trophy while wearing a killer look.

In fact, we’d go so far as to say it was the look of the night. We wish the neckline wasn’t quite so plunging, but that’s the only quibble we have. Yes, the dress looked extremely heavy as she walked up the steps, weighed down as it was with what seemed like a hundred pounds of beading, but for sheer impact, you couldn’t beat it. The color was bold and focus-pulling, the shape was perfect for her, and the grandness and glitterosity made her look like a winner from the minute she stepped on the red carpet. The quintessential “I’m just here to pick up my trophy” dress.

With TO DIE FOR earrings.
