We know, we know. “Florals for Fall? Groundbreaking.” Like we’ve said before, the trends for each season tend to be fairly basic so as to encourage a consumer base to buy the latest items. It’s a hard sell if you try and make something too esoteric and out-there the must-have item of the season. Instead, the fashion industry tends to cycle through trends, tweaking them a little each time in order to differentiate the newer items from the older ones. What’s interesting about the florals for fall 2016 is that they aren’t particularly autumnal. A lot of what walked the runways for this season could’ve walked a spring runway without anyone blinking an eye. If there’s a rule to 21st Century fashion it’s that there are no rules anymore. You want to wear big pink roses in October? Go for it.

Lorenzo’s had a blast with this one, but it’s quite the feat to narrow down a bunch of floral accessories to a manageable number. These are the ones he picked because he feels they most embody the latest in floral styles. As always, we try and act like true personal shoppers here (which is something Lo used to do for a living), so everything we’re presenting was chosen so as to provide a fairly wide range of items and styles. Not everything here is to our taste, but not everything has to be.

Now let’s go shopping. First floor: BAGS.

Okay, right off the bat, we’ve gotta say that yellow and blue Marc Jacobs bag is gorgeous, on trend, and relatively affordable at the moment. It’s our favorite of the bags above. That little black Betsey Johnson saddle bag with the red roses is super-cute and super cheap to boot. And the Betsey backpack is TDF.  Also: just to prove we’re not snobs (it’s QVC!), we’re loving that Emma and Sophia tote. For a super-trendy floral, that Persaman white bag with the delicate blue and pink flowers is really pretty.

Next floor: SHOES.

Once again, Miss Betsey Johnson is catching our eye. The rainboots are ridiculously cute, as are the platform slingbacks and the canvas flats. The Rebecca Minkoff booties are chic and remind us of Prince. The Rachel Zoe pumps are pretty – and the Doc Martens? LOVELOVELOVE. The blue Ralph Lauren pumps with the more abstract floral are super-chic.

Can’t go wrong with any of the Bauble Bar offerings, they’re some of the trendiest pieces we’re showing you today. The Restelli gloves are fabulous. The Steve Madden shades would dress up even a shitty outfit on a day when you just don’t care. And every one of the phone cases are like gorgeous wallpaper you get to carry around all day, brightening up anything you’re wearing.

What’s looking good here to you?
