Rita Ora attends the premiere of “The Get Down” at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in The Bronx, New York.
Is that mean? We can’t tell anymore. We get that the “Who the hell is Rita Ora?” joke has gotten stale. And we know she has an actual career. We actually saw her perform at a Fashion Week party one time and were impressed by the fact that her mic dropped out after the first syllable of the first song and girlfriend didn’t drop a beat, but kept right on going until the techs figured out a fix. No one could hear her over the noise of the party, but we were enthralled by her commitment (and/or admirably focused delusion).
Anyway, we tend to avoid featuring her, not least because of her clear thirst, but also because we don’t love her style choices. And to be accurate, we don’t love this dress all that much either. We just love JPG and wish we saw more of his stuff on the red carpet. This? It’s fun from a conceptual point of view but even in the runway shot that architectural feature looks a bit janky and hard to manage. There’s no way it’s workable in the real world.
