Kittens, this week, we sat down and chatted about a whole bunch of stuff. First, we react to the news of the shocking twist for the upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars and how it could either be hellaciously entertaining or it could rob the show of its drama and force it to become much nastier than we’re used to.
Then we picked apart the Suicide Squad red carpetry, specifically on the following two questions: Is the cast really bringing it to their RC efforts because the reviews are horrific? Are some of the cast members (specifically Leto and Robbie) confusing red carpetry with cosplay?
After that, Tom shuts up long enough to let Lorenzo have plenty to say on the news of Raf Simons new assignment post-Dior and whether it’s a good or bad thing, both for Simon and for the design house he’s heading up.
Then, we turn to the world of TV, with Tom offering his assessment of how Mr. Robot is doing so far in its second season and Lorenzo offering a detailed review/response to the Looking: The Movie on HBO. This leads into a discussion of why we don’t have a gay-themed prestige drama on television and includes our suggestions on what the next attempt for one should be.
Hence, the term smorgasbord, darlings. Grab a cup of coffee and/or a sandwich and settle in.
