MAKE THE WITCH-LADY STOP STARING AT US.

This dress is inarguably terrible (to us), so please don’t think we’re praising it specifically when we say that this is a pretty great look for her at this event. She plays a dark, crazy sorceress character and it’s clear that her co-stars are going all-in on dressing to highlight the film’s tone if not recreate its costumes exactly.  Looked at that way (“I’m playing a witch and my co-stars are all attention whores”), this kind of weird, ugly half-assed black dress seems appropriate. Besides, we’d never want to see her show up in a standard pretty dress. She needs something intense in her style choices.

What do we all think of the makeup? She’s got the face for wearing a TON of slap, so she doesn’t seem overwhelmed by it. Even if you think it’s too much, check out how much her eyes pop from ten feet away. It’s a good way to play up her most arresting feature.
