San Diego Comic-Con 2016: Danai Gurira in Oscar de la Renta at the “Black Panther” Panel

Well, if you simply must wear an Oscar de la Renta dress to Comic-Con (and we don’t see any reason why that would be the case, but whatevs), we suppose it’s a good idea to pick one that matches the logo:

It’s a super cute look – especially with the raised hem. It’s too dressy for Comic-Con – yaddayaddayadda ad nauseam. Like we said earlier, that ship has sailed. It’s as formal an entertainment industry marketing event as Cannes or SXSW – and the fashion tends to fall somewhere in between those two examples.

But the big news is that she and Lupita will both be in the Black Panther movie, which officially makes it the most fabulous superhero movie cast of all time. We can’t WAIT for the promotional tour for that one.
