Rihanna and Drake spotted leaving Tape Night Club in London.
It’s kind of hard to assess their outfits, what with the massive entourages and all, but you know us, darlings. We’ll forge through hell and high water just to get an opinion out there.
Let’s start with him, because he’s easier. The only thing of interest in his outfit is the pink footwear. We give him credit for picking them, but we can’t say we like the shoes. They might work with a more summertime kind of outfit, but when you’re dressed almost entirely in black, they just look a little … off.
As for her, well… it’s a look alright. As far as Balmain goes, the dress is fairly inoffensive. It could’ve been a lot worse. It certainly suits her. We’d even go so far as to say this look represents a return to the kind of high-fashion street styles she became known for, after a couple of months of less inspiring efforts. But that is a LOT of fringe and tassles for one dress to handle. It looks extremely heavy. It would be much better without the coat (and with the right bra for that bustline), but we suppose it’s chilly in London right now. Or maybe the extreme ventilation that dress provides is giving her chills.
Bottom line: We neither love nor hate her look. We’re pleased that she’s showing more game in her sidewalk sashay and it all suits her very well. That’s good enough. But wow us next time, Ri. We miss you.
