Chris Pine, Idris Elba, John Cho, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, and Zachary Quinto attend the premiere of “Star Trek Beyond” held at the Empire Leicester Square in London, England.
Darlings, this poledance is nothing but a total sausage party. Let’s dive in.
As we noted yesterday, he needs a shave, a nap, and a total rethink of his “Robert Wagner in 1980” sense of style, from the hair, down to the open shirts with double-breasted jackets. This does not look like a man who is the same age as Ryan Gosling and a year younger than Channing Tatum. Most of the other men in this post are close to a decade older than him and they’re all dressed and styled in fresher, more modern ways.
Except Simon Pegg, of course.
He tends to go his own way – and it usually works for him. This is a pretty great look taken on its own, but it’s way too casual for this venue, which all the other attendees clearly considered formal enough for suits. he honestly looks a little sheepish about it.
From the high hair to the tailoring, he’s bringing the flawless.
Also love, although not in an all-caps way because we think the shirt and tie choices were missed opportunities. But the suit is fabulous.
You’d never know it, but that suit is likely to be worth thousands of dollars. Even if it had been tailored to fit him correctly (WHICH IT SHOULD HAVE GODDAMMIT), it’s such a dull look that it was bound to photograph as “middle management.”
You need something fitted and plaid, Simon. A cliche? Maybe. But we just called your two be-plaided co-stars the best-dressed of the lot. Also: slicking back your hair is aging and makes you look like you work for the mob.
Pants are too long and the shirt and jacket are too tight. A shame, because it could have been a good look. Not feeling light brown shoes with a purple suit, though.
He never doesn’t look like a serial killer, does he?
