Alysia Reiner and Anna Gunn attend the after-party for Sony Pictures Classics’ “Equity” screening hosted by The Cinema Society with Bloomberg and Thomas Pink at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Never let it be said that these ladies didn’t dress up for the occasion. Although if anything, they may have been a little too on point in their choices.
We get that an evening at MoMA might normally call for dressing like a socialite or a politician’s wife, but considering they’re both actresses at a premiere of their film, we think they could’ve loosened up a bit. Alysia’s dress has maybe a bit more interest to it, but it still comes off a bit staid and respectable, even with the tricky skirt. She styled it fairly well, though. Anna, we’re sorry to say, is not helping herself here. The hair isn’t doing her any favors and the dress is generic. Worse, she didn’t really try to set it off with any notable jewelry or a clutch or distinct makeup. It’s almost like she was actively trying to fade into the background.
We saw the trailer for this in front of the Ab Fab movie and it really made an impression. We might carve out some time to catch this.
