“Games of Thrones” actress Emilia Clarke covers the July 2016 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK magazine photographed by David Slijper, styled by Leith Clark and available June 1st.
We feel we really owe you kittens something pretty and uncomplicated after the parade of ugly fashion we unleashed on you today.
“I’m normally surrounded by dudes. Doing Me Before You meant I didn’t have to be continually proving myself in a man’s world, having to try and force people to listen to me. I’ve got a really strong mum. I was brought up thinking that men and women are equal. It’s only as I’ve got older that I’ve been like: ‘Mum! What the f…? Why are they treating me differently because I’ve got a pair of tits?'”
This isn’t the edgiest or most drop-dead chic look we’ve ever seen, but it’s pretty and it suits Miss Emilia a heck of a lot more than her recent red carpet choices. The neckline’s kind of annoying. And the sound bite comes off a bit too calculated, but that’s just us.
But pretty! So pretty, right? We’re just cranky bitches. All that bad fashion earlier wounded us, darlings.
