Carrie Underwood in Mikael D at the 2016 CMT Music Awards

Carrie Underwood attends the 2016 CMT Music awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

It’s yet another country music awards show, darlings! And you know what that means, don’t you? It means we get to judge Country Barbie and Nicole Kidman while mostly ignoring the rest of the attendees! A T Lo tradition, if you will.

Country Barbie, you’re up.

God, we ended yesterday with the latest “fucked up rose” dress. Did we have to start the day off with another one? Is this the latest trend? Dresses that look like you dropped acid in a rose garden?

We’re happy to see her in something brightly colored and wildly patterned. It’s a step forward for a gal who spent at least the first 5 years of her celebrityhood dressed only in shades of beige. But that bodice looks like melted plastic. Worse, it really has nothing to do with the rest of the design. It’s just an unflattering and weird top half to a more or less standard bottom half, combining to make one strange and unbalanced dress.

Also: her makeup artist accidentally applied January Jones’ face on hers.
