Bella Heathcote in Alexander McQueen at “The Neon Demon” LA Premiere

Posted on June 15, 2016

Bella Heathcote attends the premiere of “The Neon Demon” held at the Arclight Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Clearly, the ladies of this film put their heads together and decided that sparkle was going to be on the poledance menu in a BIG way.

Miss Bella apparently didn’t need to be told twice.

We want to “Attagirl” her for being so incredibly disco-fabulous and disco-ready, but we’re afraid our eyelids are twitching over a few details. It would appear that we are looking at a blunt, plunging neckline, side cutouts AND a car wash skirt all in one dress. Kittens, considering how much we’ve bitched about these three elements this year, it’s a wonder our heads haven’t burst into flame upon viewing this dress. That may yet happen, because not only are we finding ourselves increasingly upset over some design elements we don’t like, but we are also being forced to look at MISMATCHED METALLICS. OH THE HUMANITY.

No really. The gold of those shoes – which are entirely too much shoe for that dress to begin with – is clashing with the gold of the dress, which is causing T & Lo to weep over the lost potential of this look. What could’ve been Studio 54 instead just looks mismatched and overdesigned.

We’re sad now.

But hey, girl! Your head looks amazing!
