Met Gala 2016: Zoë Kravitz in Valentino Couture

Posted on May 04, 2016

Zoë Kravitz attends the “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Don’t judge until you scroll to the bottom.

Haha. As if we could tell our judgmental little kittens when they can start judging. But try anyway, darlings.

Granted, it’s kind of a cool Halloween mask, although if we look at it too long, it starts smelling of bad Etsy. It wasn’t until we got the full picture…

… that it all clicked into place.

Which doesn’t automatically make it a chic look, but we can kind of get what she was going for once we took it all in. It’s not great, and it’s too costume-y/Klub Kid for our tastes, but we can’t say she looks like anyone else who attended that night.

Still, she’s shown a predilection for really eye-catching, totally soignée looks in the past. This is interesting, but it’s not the best use of her style talents.
