This lady’s been killing it on the style front lately. So much so that it actually took us a while to figure out …
… that we don’t much like this dress.
It’s pretty at first glance because the colors suit her. And we were almost certainly distracted by her head-styling, which is dazzling. But the shape really isn’t doing much for her, possibly because it looks a skosh too small on her. And to be honest – and we admit this is our own issue and shouldn’t really be taken a a criticism – that fabric looks exactly like the one we bought to make our kitchen curtains out of back when we were po-assed and did things like make our own kitchen curtains. It’s hard to find it fabulous. Sure, Schiaparelli is known for its whimsy, but this smacks of craft store fabric.
