IN or OUT: Emma Watson in Osman at the 2016 White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Emma Watson attends the 2016 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC.

 

It’s certainly different, right?

And we can look at individual elements – like the beautiful print and embroidery, or the fabulously tailored pants, or the too-perfect-for-words shoe choice – but when we step back and look at the whole thing, we just don’t know, kittens. We give her a lot of credit for choosing something a little odd and off-the-beaten-path. She’s shown a preference for wearing these dress-pant combos in the past and we think she’s got a pretty good eye for them, but we’re just not sure how well this one works. It looks too much like a very mumsy tea party dress over a pair of pants instead of like a more unified look that makes sense.

We don’t know… we like it for being different but we’re not sure how much we like it on its own merits. You make the call:
