While we’re all for a lady getting in touch with her inner drag queen, sometimes the results don’t quite pay off.
It’s a nice enough gown. Not the freshest take we’ve come across, but it’s workable enough and appropriate for the occasion. We don’t love the tulle sleeves but we suppose the look would be generically dull without them. And while we’re impressed by her brow game here (which is drag-queen worthy), the rest of her underplayed makeup isn’t really setting her face off against all that black she’s wearing. And we’re not sure a pony tail was the way to go either.
We don’t know… we feel like we’re being more critical than we need to. Bottom line: it’s a basic gown that needed some aggressive styling to set it off, but she chose to go with a head style that does nothing for it.
