Singer Carrie Underwood attends the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
Country Barbie had herself quite the style adventure this weekend, kittens! In fact, she wandered so far away from her usual beigetastic predilections that we briefly wondered if we were looking at a clever drag simulation of the real Carrie!
This isn’t too shocking from a color and style standpoint, but the boob covers (because they sure as hell can’t be called a bust) aren’t very pretty and we’re not at all sure why they’re on both the front and the back of the dress.
A salute to vinyl flooring!
We don’t mind the bright colors, glitter, and eye-catching patterns for stagewear, but the skirt and the top half seem to not have been introduced to each other.
C-3PO Barbie, y’all!
This is so crazy – and so far away from her usual approach – that we can do nothing but applaud it, even as we wonder if perhaps she’s hit her head recently or something.
We cannot, however, sign off on this one. The proportions are all wrong. That hem needs at least a couple more inches to it and the sleeves need to be scaled back considerably. In addition, the beading pattern is giving her the illusion of enormous shoulders. And it’s just kinda plain ugly all over, no?
Still, we appreciate her sudden veering off into crazytown on the style front. We’d love to see her continue to get her freak on, so to speak. It sure beats an endless array of floaty beige gowns that look like they were made out of hotel conference room drapes.
