Captain America: Civil War Screening Red Carpet Rundown

Posted on May 05, 2016

The Avengers – and their various enemies and/or hangers-on – assembled once again, but this time, the vibe was kept decidedly casual. Which means it’s a bunch of guys who look like they’re about twenty minutes into after-work Happy Hour. There won’t be much to talk about on the fashion front, but at least there are pretty men to look at. And a few pretty women who wound up putting considerably more effort in.

The tailoring on his suits is usually pretty awful, so we’ll take this as a win.

Hey Boo.

Want your boots, boo.

It gets the job done by being simple and relatively easy to wear, while also being something she happens to look great in.

Not so much on the choker, though; right?

Doesn’t seem like he can quite pull off a three piece. Nothing to be ashamed of, since a lot of guys aren’t right for the look.

She’s really committed to those boots this weekend, hasn’t she? She sported them at the Met Gala too. They actually work here, though.

They’re laughing at the common folk.

It’s really taking us some time to adjust to the new beefed-up Paul Rudd. He still looks adorable.

It’s always a race to the bottom of the picture to see what kind of disastrous footwear he’s sporting. While we can’t say we love these boots, we’re THRILLED that he’s not wearing wedge-heeled sneakers. RDJ, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to add an inch or two to your height with your shoe choice. It’s only a problem when you go to such great lengths to hide it. We approve of the Prince heels. We just don’t love the finish on them.

The suit’s fine.

We really love the suit and shoes together, but we’re not feeling the black bow tie against a black shirt. It’s losing something in pictures.
