George Clooney and Amal Clooney attend the premiere of “Money Monster” Premiere during the 2016 Cannes International Film Festival at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

We just finished recording our podcast, so we’re just gonna slap up an easy one. Here you go, darlings. Pretty people. Being pretty.

Yellow is the color everyone must wear this year at Cannes, it would seem. It seems like every yellow gown that walked a runway in the last 12 months has shown up on the red carpet at Cannes. And the gownery has been so old-school; so “classic Hollywood” in style. You’ll get no complaints from us. As much as we like risk-taking in fashion, the red carpet isn’t necessarily the place for it. We’ve always said that those ladystars who have trouble navigating the RC should just default to classic looks and get them styled really well. Amal, who has her own dicey red carpet history despite being declared a fashion icon a little too early in her celebrity life, is doing it exactly right here. Love the earrings. And the brow game is on point.

We’re not huge fans of goatees anymore, especially on men over a certain age. George looks good, though. Refreshed, even. His pants could use a hemming, but his hair looks great.
