Bottega Veneta “Maison” Store Opening Celebration

Posted on May 09, 2016

Darlings, a bunch of celebrities acted as living mannequins by modeling goods at a local store opening, probably so they could take said goods home with them. Since no one here is walking children in nature, we find this to be a particularly good time to sharpen our claws and judge everyone involved.

Join us, won’t you? If you don’t feel like judging, feel free to covet the purses on the shelves.

Typical for these events, the pictures do none of the outfits justice. Having said that, Ja Jo’s coat and shoes look pretty sweet.

Too many grays. Also, those shoes are fighting with the dress.

Of course we’re being nitpicky, darlings. They’re modeling free luxury goods.

Pretty damn cute.

A little too “’60s housewife slowly going crazy” for us. Or for her, more accurately, since it strikes us a look outside her wheelhouse.

Serving up bra-free Boogie Nights realness.

She seems so pleased with herself, as if someone told her “Things That Really Don’t Belong Together” was the theme of the night.

Then again, maybe it was. We didn’t mind this dress so much when Rose Byrne wore it, but that’s a lot of print and pattern to be pairing with such focus-pulling footwear. But that seems to have been the other theme of the night.
