It starts off ugly and gets prettier as you go down.
That neckline is, put bluntly, hideous. And there’s no way the pleating in that bust was going to look good in a real-world situation on a non-model. We can’t say we love the pilgrim belt but we could see it working with a more sophisticated top half than that. The skirt is lovely. In fact, the skirt and belt detail would be great as a separate piece paired with a white dress shirt, Sharon Stone-style, no?
