IN or OUT: Rose Byrne in Derek Lam at “The Meddler” Tribeca Premiere

Posted on April 20, 2016

Rose Byrne attends the premiere of “The Meddler” during the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival at BMCC in New York City.

Clearly the Little House on the Prairie look was a phase. Maybe she just needed to get it out of her system.

Because Ma Ingalls never wore metallic gold pumps and JBF hair. We’re assuming. It’s been a while since we watched an episode.  Or maybe we’re looking at this backwards. Maybe this party-ready look is the outlier and she’ll be back in flour sack dresses before the week is out.

Either way, this one’s got its good and bad qualities, which is why we’re putting it up to a vote.

Good: the head looks fabulous, the gold and blue are a fun combination (although they look a bit like team colors), it’s good to see her having fun on the RC, since she usually seems to take it so seriously.

Bad: The shape of that dress is not great and she looks stuffed into it (which is quite a trick considering how willowy she is), the neckline is too high for April, the visible bra is unfortunate.

So what’ll it be, kittens?
