Brie Larson in Rodarte at the “Room” Japan Premiere

Disconcertingly cute:

These two have long been charmers together on the promotional tour, but it’s sometimes jarring to see them all pretty and happy while promoting such a heart-wrenching film. It also must be weird to still be doing the poledance for a film long after you won the Oscar for it. And looking at it from that perspective, we really have to give it to Miss Brie here. She’d have every reason to slum it at this point but she’s all purdied up. There’s a whole hell of a lot going on with this dress, but it’s downright simple compared to most of the stuff Rodarte puts out. We don’t love it, especially when we get in close and see all the (many, many) details but it’s photogenic from ten feet away, which sounds like faint praise, but it just means it got the job done for her.

We considered putting this one up for an IN or OUT vote, but we fear young Master Jacob’s cuteness will skew the results. Love your suit, kid.
