Line up for our quick and dirty judgment, boys.
We’re big UNfans of the black-on-black-on-black look on any guy who isn’t Johnny Cash. But it’s become so ubiquitous a dressy look for the guy set that it’s turned into the male equivalent of the basic LBD; an outfit that tends to look okay simply because it’s so familiar. Something almost impossible to get wrong.
Having said that, if there’s anyone for whom the look is suited, it’s Mr. Pamuk here.
It’s never a good idea to show up on the red carpet premiere of your movie looking like you work in the theater’s ticket office.
Also: that jacket is so ugly we’re offended.
No, seriously, Ansel. We’ll take a small popcorn and a box of Goobers.
Acceptable but boring. He looks like he teaches high school in 1964.
