“Vinyl” actress Olivia Wilde attends “Race” New York Screening at the Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema in New York City.
Here’s an example of a look that checks off all the wrong boxes but somehow winds up transcending its own shortcomings.
We keep looking at this and looking at this, trying desperately to come up with something bitchy to say (Because how else will we earn our keep?) and consistently failing every single time. Yes, it’s a black sheer dress and yes, it’s another of D&G’s red rose florals and yes, like so many dresses for spring 2016 it appears to be ripping off Valentino’s Renaissance/Hippy aesthetic of recent seasons; all of this is true. But her face is freaking flawless and the dress suits her perfectly. Plus: daisies, which somehow make the design seem fresh. We’re due for a daisy trend, don’t you think?
Anyway, you WERQ your flawlessness, girl. We tried to hate but our hearts are too big and this look is too perfect.
