Tilda Swinton attends the “Hail, Caesar!” premiere during the 66th Berlinale International Film Festival Berlin at the Berlinale Palace in Berlin, Germany.
God bless this insane fashion goddess. Who else but Tilda would…?:
It’s, for the most part, a basic Chanel suit with one totally Lagerfeld over-the-top element, rendered in a non-color. But Miss Tilda just loves herself a colorless ensemble that manages to wow, either through some starkly attention-seeking design element (like the sleeves) or through some totally Tilda styling choices (like the hair and shoes). No one else could make this work, and there will be plenty of people who say she should be listed among those who tried and failed, but this, to us, is the essence of Tildaism. No one looks like this on the red carpet. We’re not saying more people should, just that it’s impossible for us to do anything but praise her for being so unique. You do you, Tilda. The rest of us are merely audience members in your ongoing fabulosity show.
