Oooooooh, GURL. It’s our longest show yet – and with good reason. We’re gearing up for what will be the biggest night of our year and the biggest week of our year because the Oscars are airing this Sunday. And what better time, what with this being the Super Bowl of red carpet commentary, to sit down with a pot of coffee and spew every single thought we have about what is, for us, the Night of all Nights. Darlings, when bitching about red carpet gowns is how you pay your telephone bill, there simply isn’t a 24-hour period to match this one all year. For us, at least. And since we realize that’s a nearly singular point of view (you can bet our fairy blogsisters the Fug Girls share it with us), we figured we’d walk you through the whole shebang from our point of view. It’s all here, from how we identify all the items and garments in as quick a manner as possible to what we think of Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic (and Brad Goreski and Ross Matthews) to why its not only important to ask the stars about their ensembles but why it’s silly to suggest otherwise.
Oh, yes. Opinions, darlings. We really shot our mouths off this time.
Also, we manage to squeeze in a little squeeing over the planned Mary Poppins sequel that may be starring Emily Blunt, talk about the runways of Milan and London, and give a short, spoiler-free review of the first two episodes of Hulu’s 11.22.63, which surprised Tom by being much better than he expected.
