“Vinyl” actress Olivia Wilde makes an appearance on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” in New York City.
Ooof.
We know Ossie Clark and Celia Birtwell are important figures in late mid-Century fashion who produced many beautiful, stylish and trendsetting pieces in their day, but we can’t really say we love this one. The shape of it – especially the skirt – is odd, the placement of the cutout is unflattering and the whole thing looks dated rather than classically vintage to us. We get that she’s promoting her period piece TV show and fully support the idea of referencing that in her style choices, but this is too much of a costume to us.
Agree/disagree, darlings?
