Leslie Mann, Dakota Johnson and Alison Brie on “AOL Build”

Leslie Mann, Dakota Johnson and Alison Brie make an appearance on “AOL Build” to promote their new movie “How to be Single” in New York City.

These ladies are working almost as hard as the Zoolander2 cast. Let’s show them our appreciation by judging their outfits.

Hmmm. Clearly they called each other up and said “Let’s all wear pants for this one!”

This is … wait. What is this? What are we looking at here? Is that a scarf or just a blouse with a really exuberant pussy bow? The jeans are nice and we suppose the shoes are acceptable (although truth be told, they look a little ugly to us, even if they go well with the look), and the jacket’s fine (if you like short-sleeved jackets, which make no kind of sense to us). Whatever that explosion of fabric erupting from her torso is, it’s a bit much.

We plan on pulling this picture out the next time one of us suffers a bout of insomnia. Five seconds of staring at it and we’re out like a light. She’s a human Xanax.

Check Trudy Campbell out, getting her “edgy” on! We like this for her. It doesn’t seem to photograph particularly well, so we’d probably have preferred a top that popped a bit more, but we have no problem at all with the leather pants, which look surprisingly good on her.
